Kanwaljit Scientific Industries

Kanwaljit Scientific Industries is at plot number 59 in the HSIDC Industrial Estate. This area is full of similar units, so everything looks a bit the same if you aren't familiar with the layout. Our unit is just a plain industrial shed where we do all our manufacturing and assembly. The air inside usually smells a bit like oil and cold metal. We have a couple of machines that have been with us since we opened, and they still work just fine if you know how to treat them. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers; we’re just a group of people who know how to get things done. The HSIDC estate can be a bit lonely at night, but during the day it’s full of trucks and workers. We keep our coffee mugs on a shelf near the back and take turns making a pot. Most of our time is spent on the floor, making sure everything is being built correctly. We don’t have a website that we update or anything like that. People usually just call us or show up at the gate. It’s a straightforward way of doing business that has worked for us for a long time. We just keep our heads down and worry about the work in front of us. It’s steady and it’s what we know, so we don't see any reason to do it any other way. We've had the same dent in the front door for a decade now.
