1+A Bricks Company

Out here in Village-Natabgarh, we spend most of our time at the 1+A Bricks Company site. It's right off N.H.No-72, so the trucks can get in and out okay. Making bricks is hard work, and the dust gets everywhere, but it's what we know. We've got the kilns set up and the workers stay busy through the season. The weather matters a lot for us. If it rains too much, everything slows down and we have to wait. We just keep an eye on the highway traffic and wait for the deliveries to show up. Living and working in the village is quiet compared to the city, but the highway stays noisy all day. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. People just pull off the road when they need a load of bricks for a project. It's been this way for a few years now. The soil around here is decent for what we need. We just try to get the stacks ready and loaded. Sometimes things go a bit slow, or a machine breaks down, but that's just how it goes with this kind of work. We stay focused on the yard and the piles. If you're driving down the N.H.No-72, you'll see the piles of red bricks. It's a basic setup, nothing more than that. We just show up and do the job every day until it's time to head home to our families.
