Wadgaonkar Kirana

Wadgaonkar Kirana is a small shop in Dhakanwadi Village, which is under the Kaij Post Office in the Beed District. We are located right near Shivaji Chowk, which is the main spot where people gather in the village. The shop is a simple building with a tin roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains. We sell all the basic things like salt, oil, sugar, and some local grains that the farmers around here need. Since we are in a village, people often come in not just to buy things but to sit for a bit and talk about the weather or the crops. We have a few wooden benches outside for that. The shelves are made of plain wood and we use old glass jars to keep the smaller candies and spices. It gets very quiet in the afternoons when the sun is hot and most people are resting, but it picks up again in the evening. We don't have any computers or fancy scanners; we use a simple weighing scale with iron weights and write the bills by hand if someone needs one. Life moves a bit slower here in the Beed district, and our shop is a part of that rhythm. We know everyone’s family and what they usually need before they even ask. It is just a basic kirana store serving the local village folk.
