Assam Tea

Our shop, Assam Tea, is located in Village Ambajogai, right near the Yogeswari Mandir and the medical college. Being near the mandir means we see a lot of people coming through for prayers, and the college brings in students and staff too. It’s a good spot in the Beed district. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythm of the village. We sell tea mostly to local families and some of the smaller shops around. It’s not a big operation. We keep things very basic. There are sacks of tea and a small counter where we do all our business. The medical college students sometimes stop by when they have a break. We enjoy the mix of people that come through. In a village like Ambajogai, your reputation is everything, so we just try to be fair and honest with everyone. We don't have a website or any fancy ads. We just open the doors every morning and wait for the regulars. The area around the temple is usually pretty lively, which keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we have to stay late when there are festivals at the Mandir. It’s just part of living and working here in Beed. Assam Tea is our life, and we are happy to be a small part of this community. It feels like home most days when the weather is nice outside.
