Operating out of Amanpur in Uttar Pradesh, we are pretty much what you’d expect from a local motor company. The shop is usually a bit dusty because of the roads nearby, and there is always the smell of oil and petrol in the air. We spend most of our time looking under hoods or talking to people about their cars. It’s a noisy environment with tools clanking and engines starting up all day long. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical space where we get our hands dirty. The office part is just a small corner with a desk and a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait for their vehicles. Amanpur is a small place, so we know a lot of our customers by their first names. We don't really bother with big speeches about how we work or what we offer. We just try to fix the vehicles so they stay on the road. Some days are incredibly busy and we are working well past dark, and other days are a bit slower. We have a crew that knows their way around a motor, and they’ve been doing this for years. It’s hard work and it’s often hot, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the motors running and try to keep things simple for everyone.
