Dhiraj Irrigation

We are out here in Dhulia, right along the Agra Road in Gondur. Being on the main road means there is always a lot of dust from the trucks passing by. It is a busy stretch of highway, but our place sits a bit back so we can hear ourselves talk. We mostly deal with farmers and people from the nearby villages who need parts or advice on their setups. The warehouse is a bit of a mess sometimes with all the pipes and fittings stacked up. We try to keep it sorted by size, but on busy days, things just end up where they fit. It gets really hot out here in the summer months. We usually start early in the morning to avoid the worst of the heat. There’s a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. Everyone around here knows us by now. We’ve been at this post in Gondur for a long time. It’s a practical kind of job. You get your hands dirty and you spend a lot of time counting stock or loading up trailers. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk into the main shed and look for one of us. It’s a straightforward life out here. We just make sure the equipment is ready when someone needs it. We keep a spare key under a rock near the back.
