Uttan Speakers

Our shop is right near the RTC Complex Bus Stand in Amalapuram, so it’s always pretty loud outside with the buses pulling in and out all day long. We’ve been at Plot No. 14/4 58 for a while now. Most people find us because they’re passing through the station and see our sign. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with parts and speaker frames lying around on the workbenches. We spend a lot of time soldering things and testing the sound. You can usually hear a bit of bass thumping through the walls when we’re checking a new setup. It’s dusty work, especially with the road right there, but we try to keep the shop floor tidy enough to walk through. We get all sorts of people coming in, some looking for big setups and others just needing a small fix for their home system. We don’t have a big sales team or anything, just a couple of us who know how the electronics work. Sometimes we sit out front when it's quiet and watch the crowds at the bus stand. The weather in Amalapuram gets humid, so the fan is always running in the back. We just focus on getting the audio right and making sure the cabinets are sturdy. It’s a simple business and we’ve stayed in the same spot because everyone knows where to find us near the complex, even if the building is looking a bit old these days.
