Tatabluescope Steel Limited

We are located out in Village Siror Kalan, which is part of the Mundawar tehsil in Alwar district. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, right in the rural part of Rajasthan. Working for Tatabluescope Steel here means we are close to the actual sites. The office is pretty basic, given the location. It gets very dusty and the heat in summer is something else. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of steel and looking over the project details for this area. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us wear sturdy shoes and practical clothes because we’re often out in the dirt. Siror Kalan is a quiet village, so there’s not much in the way of shops or cafes nearby. We usually bring our own lunch or get something simple from the village. The work is hard and it’s a lot of manual tracking of materials. We don't have a big corporate team here; it’s just us on the ground. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use the backup. It’s a different kind of life than the city offices. We’re more concerned with the weather and the roads than with fancy meetings. It’s a simple, tough environment, but it’s where the work gets done. We just keep moving forward with the daily grind in Mundawar, checking the trucks and the inventory.
