Sonu Iron Industries

Sonu Iron Industries is situated in Sceem No. 10(B). We are located very close to Diwan Ji Ka Bagh, which is a nice little landmark to give people directions. The work we do here is mostly heavy and involved with iron. It gets hot and noisy in the shop but that is the nature of the business. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know exactly what to do without me having to say much. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small corner where we keep the books and take phone calls. Most of our day is spent out on the floor making sure the orders are being processed correctly. The neighborhood is a mix of homes and small shops so we try not to be too loud too early in the morning. We have built up a decent name for ourselves just by being consistent and showing up every day. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or whatever. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are and what we do. Sometimes the iron prices go up and down and that makes things stressful, but we just take it one day at a time. It’s a tough job sometimes but there is a lot of satisfaction in seeing the finished products go out on the trucks. We just keep our heads down and work until the job is done.
