Shree Pharma

Shree Pharma is located over in the Modi Complex in Alwar. We are right near the police station, so it is a pretty easy landmark for people to find. The shop is on the ground floor. It’s a busy street out there with lots of motorcycles and people walking by. Inside, we have rows and rows of metal shelving. We try to keep everything in alphabetical order, but sometimes things get mixed up when we are in a hurry. The walls are painted a pale blue that has faded over the years. We spend a lot of time dealing with distributors and making sure we have enough of the common stuff people need. Alwar can be quite dusty, so we have a broom handy behind the door. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that. It’s just the name on the board outside. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, and we just use flashlights to find what we need. It’s not a perfect setup, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance of the complex. We talk about the weather or the local news while we get their orders ready. It’s a simple business and we just focus on the daily tasks. When the sun goes down, we pull the shutter and head home like everyone else.
