You can find us at the Naveen Mandi Yard in Khairthal. We share space with Ankeshvar Kumar & Co. at unit A26. Being in the Mandi means we are right in the middle of all the action. Early mornings are the busiest when the produce starts arriving and the bidding begins. It’s loud, crowded, and there is always something happening. Our work at Shakambari is focused on the tech side of agriculture, but being physically at the Mandi keeps us grounded in the reality of what farmers face every day. We don’t have a polished office with glass walls. It’s more of a functional room with old ledgers and a few computers. Sometimes the smell of the grain and the noise of the tractors can be a lot, but you get used to it. We deal with people face-to-face mostly. There’s a lot of tea drinking and talking about the weather and the crops. It’s a very human way of doing business. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to make sure our part of the process works right. Khairthal is a good place for this kind of work. Everyone knows everyone else here. If you come looking for us, just ask anyone in the yard for A26 and they’ll point you the right way. We keep the door open most of the time because it gets stuffy inside with all the paperwork.
