Sas Autocom India Pvt. Ltd. is located out at Plot No. G-566 in the M.I.A. Extension. Being in an industrial area like this means our daily life is mostly governed by the sound of machines and the schedule of the shifts. It is a big open space with a lot of metal and the smell of oil. We make various components for the automotive sector, so there is always some kind of production line going on. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but there is plenty of room for the trucks to come and go, which is important. The floor is concrete and stays pretty cool even when it’s hot outside. We aren't much for fancy decorations; we just have our workstations and the storage racks for the finished parts. Most of the people working here have been around since we started, and we just go about our tasks quietly. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine needs a bit of tinkering, and that’s just part of the routine. We have a small office area for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the main floor. M.I.A. Extension is a growing place, and we are just one of the many factories out here trying to keep things moving. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for shipping.
