R. N. Pharma

We are R. N. Pharma, and you can find us at A-68 in the shopping complex in Mewat Nagar. The area is officially Arshan Khan Mewat Nagar, and it’s a lively place to be. Our shop is one of many in the row. We have a glass front that lets in a bit of light, but most of the room is taken up by tall cabinets. We keep the medicine tucked away in there. It’s usually just one or two of us working at a time. We spend the morning checking the new stock that came in and putting everything away. The computer we use for the billing is a bit old and makes a humming sound all day long. Sometimes we have to reboot it when it gets stuck. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait for us to find their items. The floor is grey stone and it stays relatively cool even when it’s baking outside. We don’t do much talking unless someone has a question about their pills. It’s a quiet sort of work, mostly. We get some regulars who come in every month for their heart or blood pressure meds. We know their faces and what they need before they even ask. It’s a small shop in a big complex, but we stay busy enough to keep going.
