We are located at 21, Ashok Vihar, right across from Kalyan Hospital. Being near a hospital means there is always people moving around and cars coming and going. Our shop is a bit more tucked away, but it stays busy in its own way. We handle various chemicals and minerals here. The shelves are usually packed with bags and containers. It’s not the cleanest looking place because of the nature of what we handle, but we know where everything is. There’s a certain smell to the place, a bit earthy and sharp, that you get used to after five minutes. We spend the day weighing things out or loading boxes for people who stop by. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's mostly just a counter and then the storage area in the back. Usually, there is a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things lively. The staff has been around for a while, so we all know each other's habits. We talk to the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. It feels like a real community around Ashok Vihar. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of our work is done with our hands, moving stock and talking to people face to face. It’s simple, steady work that keeps us occupied from morning until we close the doors for the night.
