Otto Bushings

We are located over on Old Station Road. It's a place where you can still hear the trains if you listen closely. At Otto Bushings, we work with parts. It’s a simple business. We have shelves filled with different types of bushings. Some are small and some are quite large. The air in the shop smells a bit like metal and oil, which is normal for what we do. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us working in the back. We spend a lot of time checking the sizes and making sure the metal is right. It’s precise work even if the surroundings are a bit worn down. We have been here for a long time and the building shows its age, but it works for us. We use some old machines that still run perfectly fine. There is no need for anything new when the old stuff does the job. We keep our own hours mostly. If there is a big order, we stay until it’s packed. We write down orders in a big ledger book. It’s easier than trying to use a complicated computer system for everything. We just like keeping things basic. That is the way we operate on Old Station Road. It is a quiet enough spot for the work we do.
