Our place, J B L Enterprises, is located in the village at Post Tapukara, within the Tehsil Tizara area. We are positioned near Manta Chowk, which is a fairly well-known landmark for anyone living around here. Life in Tapukara is pretty grounded, and our business is no different. We spend the day dealing with whatever supplies and goods come through our doors, meeting with people from the village and the surrounding farms. The shop floor is usually a bit cluttered with bags, boxes, and various bits of hardware that people need for their daily chores. It’s the kind of place where the door is always swinging open and you know most of the customers by their first names. We don’t have a website or a fancy marketing plan; we just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Usually, there is a bit of dust coming in from the road, and we spend a good amount of time just tidying up the shelves. When the weather is nice, we might stand outside near the entrance and watch the tractors and bikes go by Manta Chowk. We handle a bit of everything, from small household items to larger supplies, and our desk is usually buried under a pile of handwritten notes and old ledgers. It is just a regular village business where we try to keep the stock full and help out the neighbors who stop by.
