Hari Ram Hospital & Athina Nursing College

Hari Ram Hospital & Athina Nursing College is right there on By Pass Road. It is a busy place because we have the hospital side and the college side all mixed together. You will see the nursing students in their uniforms running around with books while the patients are trying to find the right room. It creates a lot of energy, sometimes maybe too much energy, but it is never boring. The traffic on By Pass Road is constant, so you hear the trucks and cars all day long. I usually sit near the entrance and help people figure out where they need to go. The students are always asking questions, which is good I guess, since they are learning. The hospital part is where the serious work happens. We have got some rooms that stay pretty full. It is not a quiet, peaceful place like a library; it is a working building. People come here from all over the area because it is easy to get to from the highway. The floor tiles are a bit worn down from so many people walking on them over the years. We try to keep things organized, but with a college and a hospital in one spot, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere. We just do our best to help the patients and make sure the students learn something useful before they head out into the world. It is a loud, busy, and honest kind of place to work. It works for us anyway.
