General Kirana Store

Our shop is called General Kirana Store. We are located in Bhiwadi village, which is in the Tijara taluka of Alwar district. If you know where Ram Chowk is, we are right near there. It’s a simple village store. We sell the things people need for their houses like grains, oil, soap, and snacks for the kids. It’s a small place, but we try to keep it well-stocked as much as we can. We have been here for many years. The people in the village are our neighbors and friends. We don't have fancy lights or a checkout scanner. We just write things down or remember the prices. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized in such a small space. We open early so the farmers can get what they need before they head out to the fields for the day. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the road, but that’s just life in the village. We aren't looking to expand or become a big chain. We are happy just serving the folks here in Bhiwadi. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck from town is late, but people understand how it is. We don’t have a marketing plan or any ads. We just sit on our stools and wait for the next customer to walk in and say hello. It’s a quiet life and it suits us just fine.
