G. H. Plastic Industries

If you walk down Kalyan Singh Road and head inside Haathi Gate, you’ll find us. This part of town has a lot of history and the streets can be quite narrow and crowded sometimes. G. H. Plastic Industries has been operating from this spot for a while now. The building is older, and you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, from the street vendors to the traffic passing by the gate. Inside, it’s all about the plastics. We have machines running and there is that specific smell of raw material being processed. It’s a bit noisy, and we often have to shout over the equipment to hear each other. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting lounge. Most people just walk right into the work area. We spend our days watching the molds and making sure the cooling water is running right. Our hands are usually a bit greasy or dusty by lunchtime. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or what’s happening on Kalyan Singh Road. It’s a practical way of living and working. We don’t really bother with fancy websites or advertisements because our work speaks for itself among the people who know us. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, but we still show up and get the machines started. It’s just what we do here day in and day out. We keep things moving as best as we can.
