You can find us at M872, B18, in Ashiana Town, which is located just off the Alwar Bypass at Thara Mod. Since we are an OPC, or One Person Company, Divtan Trading is a pretty small and focused operation. I handle most of the trading stuff myself, though I have some help now and then with the heavy lifting or the logistics. Ashiana Town is a decent place to be based because it’s right near the bypass, which is great for moving goods in and out of the area. There’s always a lot of trucks and traffic on that road, so you feel like you are in the middle of the action. My office setup is quite basic. I have my computer, my files, and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. I spend a lot of time talking to different traders and trying to get the best deals for the goods I'm moving. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit and tie; it’s more about being practical and getting things done. Some days are long, especially when there are issues with the transport, but that’s just how it goes in trading. I don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. I just want to keep the business moving and make sure my clients are okay with the stuff they get. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living out here.
