We are located right near Hope Circus in Tilak Market. It's usually quite busy around here with people moving back and forth all day long. Our family name, Bachulal Girraj Prasad, has been part of this area for a while now. We handle gems and jewellery, mostly just sitting in the shop and dealing with whatever comes through the door. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep our tools and the stones we work on. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially during the festival seasons when everyone is out shopping. We've got our regular routines, opening up in the morning and staying until the market winds down for the night. Most people know us by the name on the board. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just walk in because they are already in the market for something else. It gets dusty sometimes because of the road, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who stop by to ask about prices or to see what we have in the cases. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the work at hand, whether it’s a small stone or a piece of gold. Being in Tilak Market means we see a lot of different faces every day. It's a steady life and we just keep doing what we know how to do.
