Anand Ice Cream

Anand Ice Cream is situated at Plot No. 243 A within the Riico Industrial Area. We are right near the Ricco Housing Colony, so we have a lot of families living very close to us. It is a bit of an odd spot, being right where the industrial part meets the residential part, but it works out well. We see the workers from the factories and the parents with their kids from the colony. The shop is simple and doesn't have much decoration. We focus more on making sure the freezers are working and that we have enough stock for the weekend rush. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, and that is when we really have to worry and move fast. Most of the time, though, it is just a quiet routine of opening the shutters and sweeping the front step. We have a small table inside, but it usually ends up covered in papers or boxes that we haven't put away yet. The air is often thick with the smell of the nearby industries, but inside it stays cool and smells mostly like vanilla or whatever we are scooping that day. We have been at this plot for a while now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the colony. It is just a basic place where people can come for a treat without any big fuss or bother.
