Friends Sports Wear

Friends Sports Wear is tucked away at Plot No 19 in New Venkat Rao Pet. If you are coming through Lothukunta, it’s not a far walk. Alwal is a nice area, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good while. Inside the shop, you’ll mostly see rolls of fabric and half-finished jerseys. We spend a lot of time at the sewing machines. It's not a big corporate factory, just a local spot where we make clothes for people who like to play sports. Sometimes the thread gets tangled or a needle breaks, and we have to stop and fix things. That’s just how it is when you’re working with your hands. We have a couple of tables for cutting the patterns. It gets pretty dusty with all the lint from the fabric, so we have to sweep a lot. The street outside Plot No 19 is usually quiet, but we get people dropping in to check on their orders or to see what colors we have in stock. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is used for the actual work of making the sports wear. We just try to get the stitching right and make sure everything fits like it should. It’s a simple business here in Alwal. We show up, we sew, and we send the gear out. It keeps us busy enough.
