Takeuchi Excavators

Our shop is at 5, Ezhattumugham Road in Mookkannoor. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it's a good spot for Takeuchi Excavators to keep things organized without too much interference. The road can be a bit bumpy sometimes, but we’re used to it. We deal with excavators and parts, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around. The team is just a handful of guys who grew up around here. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find whoever isn't under a machine or on the phone. It's a very casual environment. We talk about the weather and the local news while we work on the engines. Mookkannoor is a decent place to be based. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the machines we look after are doing what they are supposed to do. Sometimes we get parts shipped in that take forever to arrive, which is frustrating, but that's just how the business goes sometimes. The shop smells like oil and old metal, which is exactly how it should be. We have a few plastic chairs for when people need to wait, but most folks just stand around and chat while they wait for their orders. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. We’ve been on Ezhattumugham Road for quite a while now.
