Artec Industries

Artec Industries is tucked away in West Vengola, Perumbavoor. If you’re coming from the main road, we’re right near Salem High School. You can usually hear the sound of the machines running before you actually see the gate. We’ve been operating here for a while, making things and dealing with all the raw materials that come in on the trucks. It’s a bit of a noisy environment, but that’s manufacturing for you. We have a small crew of guys who really know their way around the equipment. They’ve got grease on their hands most of the day, and the floor is never really as clean as we’d like it to be, no matter how much we sweep. The school nearby means there’s a lot of activity in the mornings and afternoons when the kids are heading home. Sometimes we have to wait for the school bus to pass before we can move a big delivery out. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have to finish. It’s a practical business. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, if you need something, you just walk into the shed and find whoever isn't currently running a machine. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We’ve been part of the Perumbavoor landscape for years, and we just keep doing what we know how to do.
