Paras Medical Books Private Limited sits right at the Edappally Govt. High School Junction. It’s a loud spot because of all the school kids and the buses passing by every few minutes. Our shop is usually packed with stacks of medical textbooks and journals. You can find us easily because we’re right there at the junction where everything happens. Inside, the shelves are pretty high and they’re full of heavy books. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep so much in stock. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but we try to keep the books clean for whoever needs them. We get a lot of medical students coming in looking for specific titles, and half the time we’re climbing ladders to find something tucked away in a corner. The staff here knows the piles well enough to find what’s needed without too much trouble. It’s not a quiet library vibe; it’s more like a busy bookstore where people are always asking questions. We have a tea stall nearby where we go when things get a bit slow in the afternoon. The junction is always alive, and being near the high school means there’s constant energy outside our doors. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just us, the books, and a lot of paper. Every day we unpack new boxes and try to find a square inch of space to put them. It’s a lot of manual work for the few of us here.
