Down on M C Road in Kalady, you will find us working away at Tolins Tyres. We are specifically located at III/25-B in the Mattor area. Rubber and tyres are what we live and breathe every single day here. The smell of the factory is something you just get used to after your first week on the job. It is a big part of the local economy here in Ernakulam and we are proud of that. We have a lot of people from the nearby villages working on the machines with us. It is a steady job and we take the work seriously. Making sure a tyre is solid and safe takes a lot of different steps. We are not some high-tech lab, just a solid factory where people know their trade and do it well. The machines can be quite loud, but we have a good rhythm going once the shift starts. We see the big trucks coming in and out of our gates all day long. Kerala is a good place for this kind of work because of all the plantations nearby. We have been in Mattor for a long time and everyone around here knows where the tyre place is. It is not always easy work, especially when the weather gets very hot and humid. But we get the job done and keep moving. We just focus on the rubber and making sure the batches are right for the customers.
