Our office is in the Karevuly Building, right in the heart of the Old Market area in Alua One. It’s a noisy part of town, especially in the mornings when all the trucks are coming in. Golden Harvest Exporters N Importers has been operating from this spot for a good while. We handle a bit of everything, bringing things in and sending them out. Being near the market means there is always something going on. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but we just keep the fans running. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so we have to be organized with our stock. Most of the people around here know us. We are just a small team trying to keep up with the orders. It’s a lot of manual work and checking labels. We don’t use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned ledgers and some basic computer work. The Karevuly Building is an older place, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry when the rain hits Alua One. We usually start early and finish when the work is done. There’s no fixed clock-out time when a shipment is due. It’s just the way it is in this line of business. We’re glad to be part of the local market scene here. It is hard work but it feels right to be in the middle of it all.
