Senna Treads

Over in the Development Area of Edayar, you can find Senna Treads at No.5/ 711-B. It’s an industrial part of town, so there are always trucks moving around and the smell of rubber in the air. We focus on tyres and treads, which is pretty heavy work. The shop is filled with stacks of rubber and various machinery for the retreading process. It’s loud and dirty work most days, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Edayar for a good amount of time and we know a lot of the truck drivers and fleet owners who pass through. Our space is more of a workshop than a showroom. We don't have fancy chairs or air conditioning in the main area because we’re busy working with the equipment. We check the wear on tyres and see if they can be fixed up for more use. It’s a practical business that helps people keep their vehicles on the road for longer without spending too much. We have a small team of guys who know how to handle the presses and the molds. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them instead of working on tyres. That’s just part of being in an industrial area. We don't do much advertising; most people find us because they saw our sign or heard about us from someone else in the trade. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the work done right for the people who rely on us.
