Aswathy Exports

We are located in Thaikkattukara, which is a quiet enough spot compared to the bigger cities nearby. The address is pretty simple, just Aswathy Thaikkattukara Po. We’ve been here for quite some time now, working out of this space. It’s more of a functional setup than anything else. We handle exports, so there’s always boxes and packing material lying around. Sometimes the rains in Kerala make things a bit difficult, especially when we are trying to load stuff, but we manage. The post office is close by, which makes the paperwork side of things a little easier. People in the neighborhood know us as the Aswathy folks. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. The building is painted a light color that gets dirty quickly because of the dust from the road. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we know. The office has a few chairs that have seen better days and a calendar that’s usually a few days behind. We like it here in Thaikkattukara. It feels like home, even with all the stress of moving goods across borders. We just take it one shipment at a time and hope the electricity doesn't go out during the busy hours.
