Napalchyal Tour & Travels

I'm sitting here in the Ramnagar office today. It's been a few years since we started Napalchyal Tour & Travels. Most days it's just about keeping the cars running and making sure the drivers are ready for the hill roads up towards Dharchula. The roads out here in Nainital district aren't always easy, especially when the rains come, but we know them well enough by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just waiting for the next group to arrive at the station. It’s a busy life being in this part of Uttarakhand. Sometimes the traffic in Ramnagar gets really bad near the market, but we manage to get through it. We aren't a big fancy company with a glass building or anything like that. Just a local spot where you can come and talk about where you need to go. We've got a couple of regular vehicles and we try to keep them clean, though the dust on these roads makes that hard work. People come to us because they need to get to the higher parts of Timoragarh or just around town. It’s mostly family work for us. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the trips to start. There isn't much to say other than we're here every day if someone needs a ride. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into the main part of town near the tehsil.
