Kimalaya Naturals Private Limited

Our place is at 10K Sati Naugaon, up in the Kaphara area of Almora. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren’t used to the roads. Kimalaya Naturals is what we call ourselves. Being in the hills changes how you do business. Everything takes a bit longer because of the terrain. We focus on natural things because that’s what surrounds us here. Our office is simple, just part of a building in the village. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. It’s mostly just us and our connections with the local growers. Almora is a beautiful place, but working here means dealing with weather and transport issues. We don’t mind it much. It’s home for us. We aren't trying to be some massive brand you see on TV. We are just a private limited company trying to sell what the land provides. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out. It’s not a polished operation, but we are honest about what we do. People around here know us well. We spend a lot of time outdoors or in the warehouse area. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s been a learning curve for all of us, but we enjoy the challenge of working in such a remote spot.
