Kherda Renaissance Foundation

Kherda Renaissance Foundation is located up in Almora at the Kandpal Estate. We use the Narayan Tevadi Deval spot as our main base. Being in the hills means things move at a slightly different pace than in the plains. The air is fresher here, but the work is still plenty. We aren't a big organization with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us working out of this estate. The building has that old Almora charm, though it needs a bit of paint here and there. We don't mind the creaky floors or the way the wind whistles through the windows in winter. Most of our days are spent talking to people from the surrounding villages. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone with corporate talk. We just want to get things done for the local area.
