K D Finko Foundation

We are over here in Bachhav at Chhitaunt Kot, specifically at Ravindra Narayan Singh’s place. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that, just a spot where we get things done for the K D Finko Foundation. Most days involve just sitting down and looking at what needs doing in the community. We started this because we saw things that weren't quite right around the neighborhood. It's not a big corporate operation. We just handle what comes our way. Sometimes people stop by just to talk or ask about what we are doing with the paperwork. The weather gets pretty hot here in this part of the country, which slows us down a bit, but we keep at it anyway. There's always a lot of dust on the desks from the road outside. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who care about how things are going. We spent last week trying to sort out some old files that got messy. It's hard work sometimes, but it feels like the right thing to do. If you're looking for us, just ask around for the Singh house. People know where we are. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. It’s just us doing our bit day by day. We hope to stay here for a long time even if the roof leaks once in a while. It's home for the foundation now. We like it here. Everything is simple and that is how we want it.
