About Dharmarth Bridhasram Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in Almora
We operate out of Rame’s place in Milakamawati, which is in the Dilari area of Thakurdwara. It’s a very rural spot, and we are quite far from the big city centers. Our foundation isn’t something you’d see in a business magazine. It’s just a very local operation run by people who live right here. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a high-tech office. Usually, we just sit together and figure out what needs to be done for the day. The building is simple, and we like it that way. Thakurdwara is a quiet place, and we follow that same rhythm. We don't have a big marketing budget or any kind of professional PR. Most of our work is done through face-to-face conversations. If someone in the village needs something, they usually just walk over and talk to us. We don't have a website that gets updated every day. We’re too busy with the actual work for that. Sometimes things are a bit disorganized, but we always manage to get through it. We aren't looking for attention or trying to be famous. We just want to provide a bit of support where we can. It’s honest, local work done by people who care about their neighbors. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do because we don't need to. We just show up and do what we can. It’s a simple life and we are happy with that.
