Down in the village of Malli Runi, you can find us at Khasra No 156 and 604. This is Bangari Multi Speciality Hospital Llp. We are located near the Post Office in Majkhali, which is a bit of a drive from Ranikhet. Living and working up here in the Almora district of Uttarakhand is different than the big cities. The air is better but the roads can be a bit tricky when the weather turns. We set up the hospital here because people in the village shouldn't have to travel all day just to see a doctor. It’s a multi-speciality setup, so we try to cover a lot of ground. The building sits on these specific Khasra plots and we’ve made it as comfortable as we can for the patients. It’s not a huge city hospital with glass walls, but it’s ours and it serves the community. We see people from all over the Majkhali area. Some walk from their homes and others come in on the local buses. Our staff are mostly local people who understand the local dialect and the way things work in the hills. We keep things running 24/7 because emergencies don't wait for the sun to come up. If you are near Ranikhet and head towards Majkhali, you’ll find us. It’s a quiet spot most days, aside from the usual hospital noise.
