Aryans School

Down in Almora, specifically in the Neelkanth Building, you will find our school. Being up in the hills means the air is usually cooler than in the plains, and the view from some of our windows is actually quite nice. The school is a bit smaller than what you might find in a big city, but that is just the way things are in Almora. We have a handful of classrooms and a small office where we keep all the files and handle the admissions. In the winter, it gets quite cold, so everyone comes to school wrapped up in heavy sweaters and scarves. The students are mostly local kids from the town and the nearby slopes. We have a small group of teachers who handle all the subjects, and they have been with us for a while. The pace of life here is a bit slower than in other places, which we don't mind at all. There isn't a lot of fancy equipment or big sports fields, just a few rooms where the teaching happens and a place for the kids to eat their lunch. Sometimes the walk up to the building can be a bit tiring if you aren't used to the hills. We don't put on any airs or try to act like a big institution. We are just a local school in a mountain town, doing what we can to help the kids learn their lessons every day.
