Almora Traders

Right near the old Central School in East Pokherkhali is where we run Almora Traders. It is a decent spot because we get to see the kids heading to school and the parents walking by every morning and afternoon. We mostly deal with trading different goods, so our space is often filled with sacks or wooden crates waiting to be moved out. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is kept. The air in East Pokherkhali is usually a bit quieter than the main market areas, which we appreciate during the long days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in our old notebooks. Sometimes the shipments are late, and we just have to wait around and talk to the neighbors. We have a small bench outside where we sit when the weather is nice. The old Central School is a good landmark for people, so they don't usually get lost looking for our entrance. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we have been here a while and people in the area know what we do. The work is steady and involves a lot of checking lists and moving items from the truck to the back room. It is just a normal life running a trade business in a quiet part of town with a few good people.
