Vardhman Genaral Store

Vardhman Genaral Store is located on Baghambari Road in the Allahpur area of Allahabad. Our address is 789/2A, and it’s a place where we’ve spent many years. The road outside is usually busy with people going about their business. We carry all the general items you’d expect to find in a neighborhood shop, like snacks, toiletries, and household supplies. The shop is not very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space for shelving. It gets a bit hot during the summer months, but we have a small fan that helps. We know most of the families around Allahpur because they have been coming to us for a long time. It’s a simple operation, mostly just family members helping out behind the counter. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements; the shop front is all we need. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time, so we have to explain that to the customers. We try to keep things organized, but in a small space, it’s always a challenge. There’s a lot of manual work involved, like unpacking crates and checking expiry dates. We just want to do our work honestly and keep the store going. It’s a quiet life, focused on the daily needs of the people who live nearby on Baghambari Road. We are just here every day, doing what needs to be done. It's just a regular local shop and we like it that way.
