Sri General Store

Sri General Store is situated at 23/47/16 in Motiyara Nagar. We are right there in Allahpur, and most people find us by looking for the Bank Of Baroda nearby. It’s a decent spot in Allahabad where there’s a good mix of people coming and going. The store itself is just a regular room filled with shelves from floor to ceiling. We try to keep things like pulses, oil, and household cleaners ready for whoever walks through the door. Since the bank is close by, we get people stopping in after they finish their errands there. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we know exactly where every single item is kept. Sometimes we have to move three or four things just to reach a specific brand of biscuits a customer wants. It gets a bit crowded during the evening hours when everyone is heading home and remembers they forgot something for the kitchen. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. It’s just a wooden counter where we do all the business. Living and working in 211006 means we see the same people every day, which is nice. We just focus on keeping the stock levels up so nobody leaves disappointed. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and connected to the Motiyara Nagar community. Sometimes we run out of change, and we have to ask the neighbor for some coins, but that's just part of how things work around here. We stay open until late.
