Shiv Brothers

Shiv Brothers is our shop over on Kachari Road in Old Katra, Allahabad. The pin code here is 211002, and it is a location that stays active from the crack of dawn. We are a small team, mostly family, and we have been at this spot for quite a while. Being on Kachari Road means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to work or errands. The shop itself is filled with all sorts of general items. We do not really specialize in just one thing; we try to have a bit of everything that a household might need. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice and everyone is out in Old Katra. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves, moving bags and stacking shelves. It is hard work, but it is what we know. We are not trying to be the biggest store in Allahabad, just a reliable one where people can find what they want. Sometimes the shop feels small when there are three or four people inside at once, but we manage to get things done. We have grown used to the sounds of the street and the constant movement outside our doors. It is a very local atmosphere here. We just focus on our daily tasks, like checking the inventory and talking to the people who walk in. It is a straightforward way of making a living, and we are content with it.
