Sanchi Threads

Our place is 21/d over in the Kala Danda area of Himmat Ganj. It is a pretty quiet neighborhood most of the time compared to the main markets in the city. Sanchi Threads has been running from this spot for a while now. Usually, the day starts with a simple cup of tea while we unlock the main door and pull up the shutters. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they have looked this way for years and we are used to it. We keep a lot of our inventory piled up in the corners, so it can get a bit crowded when we are trying to find something specific. There is one window that lets in some light, but it mostly looks out onto the street where the neighbors pass by. We know most of the people who live around here by name. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact door since the numbering in Kala Danda can be a bit confusing to people who do not live here. We just tell them to look for the small sign near the corner. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure everything stays organized and the orders are ready. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep, which is good because we get a lot of lint and bits of thread everywhere from the work we do.
