If you head over to Plot No.52 A in Allahapur, you will find Mohan Tractor Pvt. Ltd. We are located right near the Chand Shekhar Azad Public School, so we hear the kids playing and the bells ringing all day long. It’s a lively spot to work. Mostly, we are surrounded by big machinery and the smell of diesel. Tractors are rugged things, and they need a lot of looking after, especially after a long season in the fields. We spend our days talking to farmers who come in from all over the area. They usually have a lot of stories about their crops and the weather, so there is never a dull moment around the shop. Our hands are almost always greasy from messing with engines or hydraulic parts. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but we like being around the equipment. The space in Allahapur is big enough to park several units, though it gets tight when we have a lot of repairs stacked up. We try to keep things moving so the farmers don't lose too much time. They rely on these machines for their livelihood, so we take the work seriously even if we keep the atmosphere pretty casual and relaxed. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, right there near the school, day in and day out.
