Mission Institute

Our office is located at 21/5B on Muir Road in the Allahabad Kutchery area. It is right near Anand Hospital, which is a big landmark for anyone coming from outside the city. If you find yourself opposite Pangoriya Bhawan, you are in the right place. Mission Institute is basically where we spend all our time. It’s a place for learning, but it feels more like a busy house sometimes. There are chairs everywhere and whiteboards that never seem to stay clean for long. Allahabad has its own pace, and Muir Road is no different. You hear the traffic outside and the occasional horn from an ambulance going to the hospital. We started this because we wanted to have a spot where students could sit and actually focus on their exams. It isn't a polished corporate building. The walls might need a new coat of paint soon and the desks have some scratches. But it works for us. We drink a lot of chai and talk about upcoming tests. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows and keep going. Most of the staff has been here for years. We know the regular faces and the shopkeepers around the Kutchery. It is a practical space for people who are serious about their studies. We don’t do big ads or anything. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they pass by.
