Maa Sharda Films Creations is based right here in Mumford Gan. It’s a well-known area and we’ve been part of it for a good bit of time now. Our work revolves around various film and creation projects, mostly handled right from our office in the neighborhood. Mumford Gan has a certain feel to it, and we like being situated here. Most days involve a lot of screen time, editing, or planning out the next steps for a project. It’s not always glamorous work; there’s a lot of sitting around and making sure the small details are correct. We aren't a big fancy studio with a lot of staff. It’s just a few of us who know the ropes and get the work done. People from the area stop by sometimes just to see what we're working on. We try to keep things simple and avoid all the complicated industry talk. If you come by, you'll likely see someone hunched over a computer or talking on the phone about a shoot. The space is filled with cables, hard drives, and old notes from previous jobs. It’s a bit of a workspace more than a showroom. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the footage looks okay and the sound is clear enough. It’s a steady pace most weeks. We don't really push for big attention, we just stick to what we know in Mumford Gan. It’s been our home for a while and we’re quite comfortable with how things run daily.
