Kesharwani General Store

Kesharwani General Store has been sitting here in Allahpur for a good long while now. We are a small place in Allahabad, right in the 211006 area, and we mostly just focus on getting people what they need for their houses. The mornings start pretty early when the milk and bread deliveries show up at the door. It’s usually a rush then because everyone wants their breakfast things before heading to work or school. We try to keep a bit of everything on our shelves, from soaps to sacks of flour, so the neighbors don't have to walk too far. Sometimes the shop feels a bit crowded with all the boxes piled up, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We spend a lot of our time just talking to the people who stop by for a packet of sugar or some salt. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We don't have a big team or any fancy equipment. It’s just us helping out whoever comes through the door. In the afternoons, when it gets really hot outside, things slow down a bit, and that’s when we get to restocking the jars. Then the evening comes and it gets busy again with people picking up snacks or things they forgot earlier. We’ve seen many kids from the neighborhood grow up over the years. We aren't looking to be a big supermarket, just a local shop that stays open for the folks nearby.
