You can find Kesharwani Business Enterprises at No. 278 New Bairhana. It’s an old neighborhood with narrow streets and a lot of houses built close together. Our office is a simple room on the ground floor. We’ve got a couple of wooden desks and some metal filing cabinets that have been here since we started. We handle various business tasks, but nothing too complicated. It’s mostly just making sure the paperwork is correct and the orders are moving along. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us sitting at our desks working. Sometimes the neighborhood dogs bark a lot, or the vegetable seller goes past yelling his prices, and we have to pause our calls. It’s just the way things are in New Bairhana. We aren't a corporate giant. We are just local people trying to earn a living. We don't have a mission or a vision statement hanging on the wall. We just try to be helpful when someone asks for something. If we can do it, we say yes. If we can’t, we tell them where else to look. We’ve built a lot of trust that way over the years. We drink our tea, finish our ledgers, and lock up when the streetlights come on. It’s a practical and steady way to live for all of us.
