Down here in Chaukhandi Kydganj, we run the Allahabad branch for the Indian Register Of Shipping. The address is 330 241 1, and it’s a place where we spend most of our waking hours. We deal with all sorts of maritime classifications and safety checks. It’s not always the most glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The office is right in the middle of things in UP 211003. We have some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, but they hold all the records we need. We don't really have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you with your ship registrations. It’s steady work and we take it seriously, even if we’re a bit laid back in how we run the office. We usually have a bit of chai in the afternoon and talk about the latest maritime updates. It’s a simple life, but it suits us just fine. We have been here for years.
