Hardware & Network Engineer

Our shop is on Uruwa Meja Road in Allahabad and it is a pretty straightforward setup. Being a hardware and network engineer here means you spend most of your time untangling wires or trying to figure out why a router is not blinking the way it should. The air in Allahabad gets quite dusty, especially near the road, so the computers we get to fix are often filled with dirt inside. We open them up, clean them out, and try to make things work again. It is not just about fixing PCs though, because people come in with all sorts of networking problems. Sometimes we have to go out to their places to run cables along the walls. Sometimes we stay late because a job is harder than it looked at first. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. If your internet is down or your computer won't turn on, you just bring it to the road and we see what we can do. It is practical work and we have been doing it for a long time now. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or crimping ethernet ends with those metal tools that hurt your hands after a while.
