Gs World Allahabad

Our office is at Gs World House on Stainly Road in Allahabad. The building number is a bit long—128/134/135/1—but it’s hard to miss once you get near the Traffic Chauraha. That intersection is always a bit of a mess with rickshaws and cars, so we usually tell people to just head toward the main crossing and look for us from there. The house itself is where everything happens. It’s a big enough space for all of us to have our own corners to work in. We don't have any professional decorators or anything; we just moved the desks in where they fit and started working. There’s a lot of paper moving around here daily, mostly notes and schedules. Being on Stainly Road means we are close to the heart of the city, so there is always something going on outside the gate. We’ve got a small spot for people to wait, but usually, it’s just us and a few visitors talking about what needs to be done next. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the gate squeaks a bit when you open it. It’s just a regular building where we put in a lot of hours. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going, especially during the winter months when Allahabad gets that cold fog. It’s a simple setup, nothing too grand, just a place for work.
